A Big Dialogue: China-Australia - A Reprise (topic TBC)

Five years on from the Big Dialogue on the China-Australia relationship at the Tivoli in November 2020, and a lot more water under the China-Australia bridge, we will revisit the subject on 11 November on the other side of the river at the Princess. How do we square the circle or reconcile our trade dependency on China with military deterrence? How much do we need either of those anyway? 

These and related questions will be explored in the civil, congenial Big Dialogue format, making difficult discussions between people who disagree both enlightening and enjoyable.
