SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY
Chris Berg is a Professor of Economics at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. Professor Berg is one of Australia’s most prominent voices for free markets and individual liberty, and a leading global authority on regulation, technological change, and civil liberties.
At RMIT he teaches the economics of artificial intelligence and the economics of cryptofinance and cryptocurrency.
He is the author of more than a dozen books. His latest, Artificial Intelligence: A Classical Liberal Approach, will be published by Palgrave Macmillan in October 2026.
