Queensland is attempting to achieve Net Zero by 2050 without nuclear but the environmental cost is too significant and not acceptable in my view. As an example the amount of proposed (current) wind farms in Queensland to be constructed will require 1.4 million [?] of our remnant forest area to be taken up by wind farms (i.e. environmentally destroyed) using the land area requirement as defined in the 'Energy and Jobs Plan'. This is just one aspect of the Plan. Can the renewable energy proponents advise us if they think that Queensland can adopt a 'mainly renewable & non nuclear' energy approach that would result in orders of magnitude less environmental destruction?
